OTSA NEWS FALL 2006
THE ORTHODOX THEOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA

THE ANNUAL MEETING OF OTSA will be held at St Vladimir's Seminary, June 12-14, 2007. Check the website www.svots.edu for directions to St Vladimir’s. Members are reminded that this year’s conference dovetails with the Fordham/Villanova Conference “Orthodox Readings of Augustine,” June 14-16. We will end our conference on Thursday with the business meeting and lunch to facilitate participation in that conference. Contact: George Demacopoulos (demacopoulos@fordham.edu)or Aristotle Papanikolaou (papanikolaou@fordham.edu)

• With us will be members of the SCOBA biomedical commission, who will use OTSA for a forum to explain how they arrive at conclusions on a variety of biomedical ethical issues.
• Tony Vrame will chair a panel to examine the results of the Patriarch Athenagoras Institute study of clergy education in the various jurisdictions.
• Papers on any and all topics (or panels) are welcomed but space on the agenda is limited. Deadline February 1. All proposals should be sent to the Secretary of the Society* who will forward them all to officers to set up the final program.
