Summer 2008 Conference on Orthodox Schools

Presented by the Orthodox School Association with funding from the Virginia H. Farah Foundation

Hosted at Hellenic College and Holy Cross School of Theology in Boston, Massachusetts, August 1st & 2nd

The Orthodox School Association is pleased to offer the opportunity for Orthodox educators to meet together at Hellenic College in Boston, Massachusetts, for the second annual conference on Orthodox schools. This year's conference will include several panels led by leading educators and other advocates of Orthodox schools. Speakers to include Fr. Anthony Scott of Stewardship Advocates, Dr. James Skedros of Hellenic College, Dr. Vigen Guroian of Loyola College, Andrew Kern of the Circe Institute, Fr. Dcn. James Hughes of St. Michael's School, and Bryan Smith of the Orthodox School Association, among others.

Registration fee: The cost for attendance, meals, and professional development credit is $150.00. Limited financial assistance is available - please contact us for details. Attendees are responsible for the cost of travel and accommodations; rooms are reserved at the Hilton Hotel in Dedham, 781-329-7900 for $109/night. Evening Seminars: Participants are invited to enroll in one of three evening seminars. These in-depth seminars offer attendees the opportunity to read and discuss seminal texts in the classical tradition. An additional fee of $50 is required for participation in a seminar with enrollment limited to fifteen participants in each.
