of North America, and two from the American Carpatho-Russian
Archdiocese.
The Katina John Malta Scholarship Fund is a new scholarship program
established at the Archdiocese in 2002 by means of a generous gift from
the estate of Katina John Malta. The donation and the formation of the
scholarship program has been done in recognition of the love Katina had
for the Church and in honor of the desire she had to help others,
especially children and youth. The program awards at least two
scholarships of $2000 each academic year. The program is open to all
Orthodox students of the jurisdictions of the Standing Conference of
Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas (SCOBA).
Application forms are available upon request from the Office of the
Chancellor, Scholarship Office, 10 East 79th Street, New York, NY
