Missionaries needed - Youth and Young Adult Workers
Missionaries needed - Youth and young adult workers
July 29, 2004
"What good fortune therefore it is to receive a good, truly Christian
upbringing, to enter with it into the years of youth, then in the same
spirit to enter into the years of adulthood." -St. Theophan the Recluse
The Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC), St. Augustine, FL -
Hierarchs around the world have requested our help! The Orthodox
Christian Mission Center (OCMC) is looking for those who work with youth
and young adults to help the Church in Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin
America. Working with young people is a priority in our local parishes
and it is also a priority for Orthodox throughout the world.
If you are a youth and young adult worker, leader or coordinator, or you
have experience in this area, consider if God is calling you to use
your talents and experience in the mission field on a 1-2 year
placement. Most of the people who are called to go the mission field
never go - will you be someone who answers the call and goes?
Your impact as a missionary youth and young adult worker could be
greater than you think. The young people you teach and inspire today
will be leaders in the Church tomorrow; perhaps some will also answer
the call to be missionaries themselves! Your work will help the Church
grow and reach out to others who have not experienced the joy of knowing
Christ. Consider serving as an OCMC Missionary and help make disciples
of all nations!

and young adult worker, or for opportunities, please contact OCMC's
