OTSA NEWS FALL 2006
THE ORTHODOX THEOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA
THE
ANNUAL MEETING OF OTSA will be held at St Vladimir's Seminary, June
12-14, 2007. Check the website www.svots.edu for directions to St
Vladimir’s. Members are reminded that this year’s conference dovetails
with the Fordham/Villanova Conference “Orthodox Readings of Augustine,”
June 14-16. We will end our conference on Thursday with the business
meeting and lunch to facilitate participation in that conference.

• With us will be
members of the SCOBA biomedical commission, who will use OTSA for a
forum to explain how they arrive at conclusions on a variety of
biomedical ethical issues.
• Tony Vrame will chair a panel to
examine the results of the Patriarch Athenagoras Institute study of
clergy education in the various jurisdictions.
• Papers on any and
all topics (or panels) are welcomed but space on the agenda is limited.
Deadline February 1. All proposals should be sent to the Secretary of
the Society* who will forward them all to officers to set up the final
program.
