For the week of February 3
On Come Receive the Light, the National Orthodox Christian Radio Program,
Fr. Chris will be speaking with Dr. Aristotle Papanikolaou about "Faith at
Fordham: Orthodoxy and Fordham University", and with Rod Dreher, a
columnist with the Dallas Morning News, about the rise of the Internet in
modern life.
In addition to Come Receive the Light, The ARK and The RUDDER, our online
programs, feature a number of additional shows this month, including a
series of lectures from the recent International Conference of Orthodox
Psychotherapists. This week, tune in to The ARK and RUDDER to hear Dr.
Philip Mamalakis of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology on
"'Orthodox Psychology' or 'Orthodox and Psychology'?"; a meditation from
Fr. Stanley Harakas, entitled "You were 'Presented at the Temple'"; our
new program for teens, Orthodox Teen Talk Online; another installment of
Jason Barker's radio Bible study of 1 Corinthians; and "Just Thinking"
with journalist Rod Dreher.
Each day on The ARK and The RUDDER you can also hear a different show from
"The Best of Come Receive the Light," featuring favorite interviews from
past episodes. During February 4 - 8 we will be playing "Advanced

the Orthodox Christian Mission Center about the purpose and value of
short-term missions. Find out more about Christ's call to spread the

Fr. Tom Avramis, President & CEO of Trinity Children's Foundation, a
non-profit organization founded by Orthodox Christians that serves more
than 1,300 abused boys and girls in four different Western states.
On The ARK and RUDDER, you can hear Mother Katherine (Weston) on
"Integrating Psychotherapy with Orthodox Anthropology" and the words of
Fr. Stanley Harakas: "In Success - Thanking God"." The ARK's Featured
Artist is David Teems, and of course we will have Orthodox Teen Talk
