2009-2010 Malta Scholarship Applications Available

Applications are now available for scholarships to be awarded for the 2009-2010 academic year from the Katina John Malta Scholarship Fund. This scholarship program was established at and is administered by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America through a generous gift from the estate of Katina John Malta. At least two scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Candidates must be of the Eastern Orthodox faith (within a jurisdiction of the member Churches of the Standing Conference of the Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas - SCOBA), and at the time of application, high school seniors or full-time matriculated students committed to serious study in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university.

Scholarship Applications must be postmarked by the April 20, 2009 deadline.
